Sharp's comments

Speaking on Friday before the full situation was confirmed, club representative Sharp said Goodwin was doing fine, noting he had spoken with him the previous night and again that morning, finding him in good spirits. Sharp said he did not know many details himself, having simply asked how Goodwin was feeling — the manager told him he had been taken into hospital the day before after feeling unwell and was being kept in for observation.
