Changes in Management of Šlokenbeka Castle; New Director Sought

The Tukums Municipality has started looking for a new manager for SIA "Šlokenbekas pils", the company that operates the historic Šlokenbeka Castle. The previous board member, Vija Ozoliņa, submitted a request to be relieved of her duties, and the municipality has granted it.

To ensure business continuity, Linda Ošiņa has been appointed as a board member for one year without a competition. This is permitted under regulations, which allow the shareholder's representative to temporarily appoint a board member for up to one year while the formal selection process is carried out.

According to data from "Firmas.lv", the company's turnover last year was €289,146, and it suffered losses of €65,630. The exact date for the competition to find a new permanent director has not yet been announced.
