Four people killed in crash on Tallinn highway near Salacgrīva

A collision between a truck and a car on the Tallinn highway in Salacgrīva parish early Saturday morning left four people dead.

A serious traffic accident occurred early Saturday morning on the Tallinn highway near Otlūži in Salacgrīva parish, resulting in four fatalities. The State Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 5:44 a.m. Upon arrival, they found that a truck and a passenger car had collided. Using hydraulic tools, rescuers extracted four deceased individuals from the vehicles. According to Latvian State Roads, traffic at the scene is currently restricted to one lane in the direction of Ainaži.
