Smiltene Library exhibits Estere Lārmane's creative works 'Stories of Colour and Line'

From October 1 to 30, the Children's Department of Smiltene Library is hosting an exhibition of creative works titled 'Stories of Colour and Line' by Estere Lārmane, a second-year student at Smiltene Art School.
Visitors can explore the young artist's creative world, where nature, animals and people hold an important place. At art school, Estere is most drawn to ceramics and painting, but she feels a special connection to depicting her surroundings through colour and line. She most enjoys painting and drawing nature, capturing the beauty, moods and details she notices.
About the exhibition
The exhibition features both painted and drawn works that reveal Estere's interest in the world around her – natural landscapes, animals and people. Each piece functions as a small story, offering viewers a chance to see familiar things through the eyes of a young artist.
