Nine Candidates Apply for Smiltene Hospital Board Member Position

The SIA “Sarkanā Krusta Smiltenes slimnīca” has announced a competition for the board member position vacated by Didzis Lūkins. Nine candidates have applied for the vacancy.

In May, the Smiltene municipality's capital company SIA “Sarkanā Krusta Smiltenes slimnīca” launched a competition for the vacant board member position. The previous holder, Didzis Lūkins, who served from 2017 to 2026, left the post to become the chairman of the board at Jūrmala Hospital on May 5. Nine candidates have submitted their applications for the vacancy. The selection process is currently underway, and a decision on the new board member is expected soon. The exact date for the new appointee to assume the role has not been announced yet.
