Andrew and Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami on Charges of Rape and Sex Trafficking
Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami on Saturday at the request of the UK, facing new charges of rape, trafficking, and child image offenses.

Federal authorities arrested brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate on Saturday in Miami, according to the US Marshals Service. The warrant was sealed, and charges were not immediately announced, but a source familiar with the matter stated the arrest was based on an extradition request from the United Kingdom.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) later disclosed charges: Andrew Tate (39) faces seven additional counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and 19 further charges related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate (38) is charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. The alleged offenses occurred between July 2010 and August 2017.
Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS special crime division, confirmed the charges followed a new evidence file from Bedfordshire Police, bringing the total number of alleged victims to seven. The brothers, known for promoting hypermasculinity to millions of followers, have denied all allegations.
The Tates had previously been charged in the UK with 21 offenses including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking. They also face charges in Romania for human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group following their arrest in December 2022. A recent High Court ruling rejected their legal bid to learn the names of their female accusers.
