In Finland's top floorball league, the F-liiga, forward Emeli Salin reached the 400-goal mark in the top flight with a goal against Nokian KrP. His team, Classic from Tampere, won the home game 10:6. Meanwhile, table leaders SPV from Seinäjoki claimed their eighth win in eight games by beating LaSB 17:2, and they now lead their closest rivals by four points.

Salin reaches 400 goals

Home side Classic quickly went 2:0 up and won the first period 4:1. In the second period Mikko Laakso scored three goals on his own, cutting Nokian KrP's deficit to 4:5. Before the break, however, Salin scored Classic's sixth goal, and after it Ville Lastika made it 7:4. Three minutes before the end Salin added another, his 400th. Only Anri Johansson (678), Mika Kohonen (557) and Sami Johansson (419) have scored more in the top league. Nokian KrP had won the previous four meetings between the teams.

TPS hands Oilers their first loss

TPS beat Oilers 3:2 in a penalty shootout, which was Oilers' first defeat and the first points they dropped this season. The visitors led 2:0 through goals from Lauri Eloluoma and Markus Salmi, but did not score again. The hosts equalised in the final moments, with the goalkeeper replaced by a sixth outfield player, through Marius Suominen. TPS won in the fifth shootout round.
