Sonja Misiņa, a young percussionist, stepped onto the stage of the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in early June to secure second place at the international Eurovision Young Musicians competition. Prior to that, she had won the national selection Latvia's Young Virtuoso, but immediately after the victory, she was plagued by doubts.

On the show KŪL, the musician revealed that in the first seconds after the national selection, questions flooded her mind: whether she was the right person, whether she was capable of such a feat, and whether she should quickly pass the responsibility to someone else. However, these thoughts did not prevent her from proceeding to the international competition.

To cope with stress, Misiņa employs certain techniques – she emphasizes that the real fun begins backstage, which helps relieve tension. On Radio Naba's program, she also discussed how the idea to participate in the selection came about and what her future plans in music are. The available information does not elaborate on the specific techniques or future projects, but her honest insight into self-doubt and stress management can inspire other young artists.
