Noise Cancellation and Sound
The buds offer noise cancellation, transparency, adaptive, and off modes, with ANC strength adjustable from one to five via the case or the Soundcore app. According to the review, only the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) and Sony WF-1000XM6 canceled noticeably more noise.
The default sound profile, called Soundcore Signature, was described as heavily bass-boosted — enough that even an untrained listener might notice the difference compared to earbuds from brands like Apple or Bose. Users can choose among five preset sound profiles, an eight-band custom equalizer, and a personalized HearID mode that tunes sound preferences based on an audio quiz. Using the Soundcore Balance preset or a custom HearID profile, the sound quality was rated as very good, though slightly less detailed than the AirPods Pro 3 or QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds.
