TV Highlights: Station Eleven Repeats, Boris Johnson’s Ukraine Report, and More
Tonight’s television lineup offers a mix of drama, documentaries, and comedy, including the acclaimed pandemic series Station Eleven, a new episode of Boris Johnson’s Ukraine investigation, and the return of Scottish crime drama Granite Harbour.
Station Eleven (9pm, Sky Atlantic) – This 2022 apocalyptic drama follows two timelines: the onset of a killer flu where young Kirsten (Matilda Lawler) is cared for by writer Jeevan (Himesh Patel), and 20 years later, a grown Kirsten (Mackenzie Davis) travels with the Travelling Symphony. Prog Rock at the Proms (7pm, BBC Four) – Stuart Maconie presents a selection of progressive rock epics from bands like Genesis, Jethro Tull, Mike Oldfield, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

Boris Johnson: Into Ukraine’s Kill Zone (9pm, Channel 5) – The former UK prime minister travels beyond Kyiv, embedded with Ukrainian soldiers. He visits shattered villages, a frontline chapel, drone bases, and a makeshift bomb factory to witness the human cost of the war.
Ann Droid (9.30pm, BBC One) – Diane Morgan stars as Linda, a hilariously unhelpful support robot. Sue (Sue Johnson) attempts to work in a charity shop but faces complications due to Linda’s interventions.
Film choices: The Dink (Apple TV) is a comedy about former tennis prodigy Dusty Boyd (Jake Johnson), now coaching kids at his father’s country club, where his father (Ed Harris) fights against pickleball. Dusty meets an older woman (Mary Steenburgen) who changes his priorities. Preschool (Paramount+) features Michael Socha and Josh Duhamel as competitive dads vying for a single spot at an exclusive preschool. Janet Planet (BBC Two, 11.05pm) is a drama about 11-year-old Lacy (Zoe Ziegler) and her acupuncturist mother (Julianne Nicholson), exploring adult relationships from a child’s perspective.
