Tonight's television highlights

The Guardian reports that tonight, July 9, television viewers have several exciting programs to choose from. The focus is on the decisive episode of the reality show “The Traitors US,” airing on BBC Three at 9pm.

The American version features various celebrities, with host Alan Cumming standing out in his outlandish wardrobe. In this episode, participant Rob, known as “Housewife Slayer,” plans to introduce singer Eric to his traitorous methods. Former figure skaters Tara and Johnny reveal their hidden friendship. Special attention is on former Love Islander and pride of Ireland Maura Higgins – can she identify the traitors before becoming one of their last victims?

  • Who Do You Think You Are? (BBC Two, 9pm) – actress Ruth Madeley discovers her grandmother was adopted and travels to London to learn the full story. The show promises to be emotional.
  • Cornwall: A Year By the Sea (Channel 5, 8pm) – the story of farmer Ron, whose family has worked the same farm in Padstow for over 150 years. His son Ross introduces new, healthy meals. Fisherman Martin Murt tests experimental underwater lights to catch scallops.
  • Garbo: Where Did You Go? (Sky Arts, 9pm) – a documentary retracing Greta Garbo's rise from a Stockholm slum to Hollywood, using her personal letters.
  • The Accused: Beyond Reasonable Doubt? (Channel 4, 10pm) – the concluding part of a documentary series about possible miscarriages of justice. In 2012, ex-firefighter David Bryant was accused of sexual assault from the 1970s, insisted on his innocence, but was convicted.
