SpaceX revenue doubles after IPO, fueled by Starlink and AI compute deals
SpaceX reported its first quarterly earnings since going public, showing a 92% jump in revenue thanks to Starlink growth and AI computing contracts with Anthropic and Google.

SpaceX has released its first quarterly earnings report since its initial public offering, revealing that revenue nearly doubled year over year. Total sales reached $7.8 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up from $4 billion in the same period a year earlier — a 92% increase.
The company attributed the growth mainly to its Starlink satellite internet service and deals to rent out computing power to Anthropic and Google. Nearly $2 billion of the increase came from its AI division, while Starlink revenue grew by $1.7 billion.
The earnings report arrived almost two months after SpaceX completed the largest IPO in history. The company raised more than $85 billion and went public at a valuation of $1.75 trillion. In the first days of trading, its market capitalization briefly surpassed Amazon and came close to matching Microsoft, but has since declined. Shares have fallen below the IPO price of $135, which was reportedly set by CEO Elon Musk himself. On Tuesday, the stock closed at just over $125 and dropped as much as 8% in after-hours trading.
This is a developing story.
