The standout fixture of the Nations League round saw Spain claim a dramatic 3:2 away victory over England in a match packed with goals.
Spain took the lead as early as the second minute through Lamine Yamal. However, England turned the game around before halftime, with Anthony Gordon equalizing in the 36th minute and Harry Kane putting the hosts ahead just four minutes later.
In the second half, Spain fought back again. Alex Baena leveled the score at 2:2 in the 60th minute, and Mikel Oyarzabal scored the decisive goal in the 74th minute. England had a chance to extend their lead before Spain's second comeback, but Kane missed a penalty in the 54th minute.
Estonia holds firm in Iceland
Estonia began its Nations League campaign with a 1:1 draw away to Iceland. The hosts took the lead right at the end of the first half through Andri Gudjohnsen. Estonia responded in the 64th minute, when Maksim Paskotski scored following an assist from Rasmus Peetson. The score remained unchanged for the rest of the match.
