The case stems from Skuruls having discovered a security vulnerability, or so-called "hole," in the information technology system of the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD). Following this discovery, he was accused of attempting to extort a reward from the CSDD in connection with it.
With the ruling now in force, the court proceedings in this case have concluded, and the imposed fine is now binding.
