Francis Gustavs Kolodinskis has been confirmed as a wild card entry for the upcoming Riga Grand Prix round. This will be his second World Championship event – he first competed in 2024, scoring three points.
Oļegs Mihailovs and Jevgeņijs Kostigovs have been named as track reserves. Mihailovs served as a reserve last year, while Kostigovs experienced the Grand Prix atmosphere a year ago when he started with a wild card.
Latvia's leading rider Andžejs Ļebedevs will compete in the main event. He finished sixth overall in the previous season, while Polish rider Bartosz Zmarzlik won the championship for the sixth time.
The 2026 Grand Prix season consists of ten rounds. The eighth round will take place in Riga in early August, with the final round scheduled for late September in Poland.
