On June 28, 2026, Spilve airfield in Riga hosted the largest airshow in the Baltics – BIA 2026. It is the only event of its kind in the region offering such a broad international flight program and a large number of military participants. The event gathered representatives from ten countries, and visitors came from at least 33 countries.
Program and highlights
In addition to the daytime program, attendees enjoyed a unique Sunset/Night aviation show lasting over an hour, featuring world-class industry participants. The show included real fighter jets, aerobatic groups, previously unseen aerial and ground stunts, and solo performances. Many Baltic and Latvian premieres took place at the event.
