International Airshow 'Baltic International Airshow 2026' Begins at Spilve Airfield
The Baltic International Airshow 2026 has started at Spilve airfield, featuring participants from 12 countries, including military aircraft from several air forces.

This weekend, the Spilve airfield is hosting the international airshow 'Baltic International Airshow 2026', with participants from 12 countries, attracting both civil and military aviation.
Saturday marked the first day of the show. Among the military participants are the German Air Force transport aircraft 'Airbus A400M Atlas', the Hungarian Air Force fighter 'SAAB JAS-39C Gripen', the Romanian Air Force fighters 'F-16 Fighting Falcon', and the Slovenian Air Force aircraft 'PC-9M'. The French Air Force fighters 'Rafale' are also expected to take part.
The military aircraft are based at Riga Airport and Lielvārde Air Base, while demonstrations take place over Spilve airfield.
On Sunday, entry to the event area opens at 11:00 AM, the airshow program runs from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and the conclusion is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
