Spotify is dealing with another significant outage this evening, marking the second disruption for users on July 27. An earlier glitch in the early morning was resolved within about an hour after reports began, but now a new issue is affecting the company's website and applications.
The Spotify Status account posted on X shortly after 3 PM ET: “We’re aware of some issues right now with our web page and are checking them out!” This followed the earlier outage that had been cleared up.
Users continue to report problems on Downdetector, and many are unable to stream music. The author can confirm being unable to play a particular track on Spotify, calling it a tragedy. As of yet, Spotify has not given the all-clear for this second round of issues, leaving users hopeful that it will be resolved as quickly as the first.
