SPRK Considers Extending Radio Frequency Usage Rights for LMT, Tele2, and Bite

The Public Utilities Commission (SPRK) has published a consultation document inviting discussion on the possibility of extending the rights of mobile operators – LMT, Tele2, and Bite Latvia – to use limited radio frequency bands in the 3600 MHz frequency range. This step is part of the regulatory process to assess the need to continue the current use of frequencies.

The consultation document is available on the official SPRK website, and all interested parties, including industry representatives and the public, are invited to submit comments and proposals. SPRK stated that the received feedback will be taken into account when making the final decision on extending the frequency usage rights.
