Monday's transfer gossip is led by Tottenham's initial approach for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. The north London club have reportedly bid up to £55m for the 27-year-old Nigerian, but the Turkish champions are holding out for closer to £65m.

Newcastle and Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is expected to undergo a medical at Arsenal, with the deal worth nearly £80m.

Atletico Madrid are weighing a move for Manchester City winger Jack Grealish, while Everton and Aston Villa are also monitoring the 30-year-old England international.

Tottenham have also held encouraging talks with Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, yet the Reds have no intention of letting the 26-year-old Dutchman leave.

Newcastle are closing in on Braga goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek, who has completed a medical after his £25.7m release clause was triggered.

Hull City are nearing an agreement to sign Nice striker Mohamed-Ali Cho for about £17m, and are also close to landing 18-year-old Australian defender Lucas Herrington from Colorado Rapids for £17m. The Championship side are reportedly set to beat Rangers and Cardiff City to Tromso's Norwegian midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl, 20.

Chelsea have improved their bid for Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria. After the Blues' initial £12.8m offer, the Spanish club are demanding £21.4m for the 28-year-old.

Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios have been undergoing medicals with Fulham ahead of permanent moves.
