Man Wanted by Police Stabbed in Staicele Parish

On the evening of July 19 at 6:59 PM, a conflict broke out between two brothers who were drinking alcohol together in Staicele Parish, Limbaži Municipality. During the argument, one of the men used a knife to stab the other, causing bodily harm. The victim was immediately taken to a medical facility, where he was found to have a blood alcohol level of 2.82 promille. A records check revealed that the victim was wanted by police. A criminal process has been initiated, according to police representative Vaskāne. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances and urge anyone with information to come forward. The case has been opened for causing bodily injury, and all details of the incident will be examined during the investigation.
