Starlink Again Works at Speeds Above 161 km/h, Sources Say
Ukraine's Ministry of Defence is testing Starlink and Starshield at maximum speeds to restore connectivity. According to sources, 161 km/h is not yet the limit.

Ukraine's Ministry of Defence is testing the Starlink and Starshield satellite communication systems at maximum speeds in order to restore their stable operation. Ukrainska Pravda reported this on 24 October, citing its sources.
Starlink is a satellite internet service run by SpaceX. Starshield is a related system. In Ukraine such links matter because they help maintain connectivity in wartime conditions.
What is known about the speed
According to the sources, Starlink is again working at speeds above 161 km/h. That is not a maximum: the tests continue, and 161 km/h is not yet the limit.
The report does not specify under what conditions or on which devices these speeds were tested. It also does not say why restoring the connection was necessary.
The Ministry of Defence has not yet publicly provided further details on the course or results of the tests.
