Steam Machine Game Compatibility Now Visible — But Well Hidden
Valve has added Steam Machine game compatibility checks, but they are tucked away within the Steam Deck compatibility section.

Valve has introduced a Steam Machine game compatibility verification system, similar to the one used for the Steam Deck. However, this information is hidden and can only be found by digging into the Steam Deck compatibility details.
To check a game's compatibility with the Steam Machine, scroll down on the game's store page to the Steam Deck compatibility section (located on the right side under the languages section). Click "Learn more" to open a pop-up where, alongside the Steam Deck tab, you'll find a Steam Machine tab. It displays the usual three-tier verification: Verified, Playable, or Unsupported.
For example, "Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced" has received a "Verified" badge, meaning it fully supports controllers, displays controller icons, and performs well with default graphics settings. Other games like "Devil May Cry 5" and "Cuphead" are also Verified. Meanwhile, Valve's own "Dota 2" is only "Playable" due to occasional mouse and keyboard icons and the need for an on-screen keyboard.
For now, Valve has not made Steam Machine compatibility more prominent, but it is expected to improve visibility in the future.
