The UEC BMX European Championships took place on Saturday, with competition split into two sessions due to intense heat. Morning heats and last-chance races were held, followed by the main finals in the evening.

Veronika Monika Stūriška, representing the Smiltene club "Silvas ziķeri," earned the silver medal in the U23 women's class. This was only her second competition of the season. She placed second in the first round, then won her quarterfinal and semifinal. In the final, starting from lane eight, she jumped to second place behind Renske van Santvoort of the Netherlands. Stūriška maintained her position throughout the race, finishing confidently in second.

In the elite men's category, Kristers Apels ("BMX Rīga/RRS") was the only Latvian representative. He reached the semifinals but crashed and finished 16th. In the U23 men's event, three Latvians competed: Noa Rafaels Laake (17th), Emīls Mārtiņš Treimanis, and Kārlis Pedraudzis (22nd). Laake and Pedraudzis advanced to the quarterfinals but did not reach the top 16.

Among junior groups, Bruno Vanags placed 10th in the B15 category (105 participants), and Anna Pedraudze also finished 10th in the G16 class (41 participants).
