Summer Games Done Quick Raises Over $2 Million for Doctors Without Borders Again

The annual speedrunning marathon, Summer Games Done Quick, has concluded, and organizers announced it raised a total of $2,408,701 for Doctors Without Borders. The event took place from July 5 to July 11 in Minneapolis, with approximately 2,500 attendees in person and thousands more watching the livestream from home.
This year's Summer Games Done Quick featured a new world record: streamer Bluekandy completed a No Dupes run of Kirby Air Raiders in 37 minutes and 54 seconds. Other highlights included a Balatro run that defied odds and an impromptu beatboxing session during the Resident Evil: Requiem run. All runs were streamed on the Games Done Quick Twitch and YouTube channels, where the full archive is now available for those who missed the live event.
