New season of Supernova: Song submissions start in August, final in February at Xiaomi Arena

LSM invites song submissions for Supernova from August 1 to October 1; the final will take place on February 6 at Xiaomi Arena.

Latvijas Sabiedriskais medijs (LSM) has announced the start of the new season of Supernova. Songs can be submitted for the competition from August 1 to October 1. A jury will select participants who will continue vying for the chance to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest. The names of the selected participants will be revealed in November. The grand finale, the most ambitious yet, will take place on February 6 at Xiaomi Arena. The winner will earn the right to represent Latvia at the international Eurovision competition.
