Switzerland says US-Iran talks on implementing MOU still planned for Friday

The Swiss foreign ministry said on Thursday that initial negotiations on implementing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Tehran and Washington to end the US-Israeli war on Iran are still planned to take place in Switzerland on Friday. US President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian have already digitally signed the interim agreement.
Key developments from the previous day: On Wednesday, Trump and Pezeshkian signed an MOU aimed at ending the war with Iran. Iran's chief negotiator said on Wednesday that Tehran would charge service fees for ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz after a 60-day fee-free period stipulated in the MOU.
US officials said on Wednesday that Iran could gain access to a $300 billion reconstruction fund under the deal with the United States, while stressing that Washington was under no commitment to contribute.
