Ahead Health, headquartered in Zurich, has developed a platform combining blood panels, whole-body MRI, and AI to deliver personalized preventive care. The company was founded in 2024 by former Google executives, medical doctors, and healthtech builders.

The investment round was led by venture capital firms 3VC and RTP Global. This follows a €5.1 million round in January 2026 led by RTP Global. The new capital will support expansion into Germany and the Netherlands, the startup's first markets outside Switzerland.

CEO and co-founder Nick Lenten said that Ahead was built in Switzerland to demonstrate that prevention can be rigorous, fast, and useful. From today, people in Munich can book a preventive check-up, with the Netherlands opening a waitlist.

The platform is designed for repeated testing over time, not one-off snapshots. It tracks each member's health against their own baseline and may catch meaningful changes early, potentially detecting conditions like cancer, brain disease, endometriosis, and cardiovascular issues years earlier than traditional care. The company claims that its full-body MRI and blood tests take only 30 minutes and result in a personalized health plan.

In Switzerland, Ahead Health has built a network of over 20 partner centers. For expansion, the company partners with local clinics and radiology centers rather than building its own facilities. Initially, it offers comprehensive blood tests, with imaging to follow soon.

Preventive check-ups are now available in Germany, starting in Munich, while the Netherlands will see a full rollout in August.
