Sunday to be warm in Latvia, but showers possible in places

According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, the coming Sunday will be pleasantly warm with moderate winds. The sky will be mostly partly cloudy, and sunshine is expected in many parts of the country.

Short spells of rain are forecast only locally, so most regions should stay dry. Winds will turn to come from the west, blowing lightly to moderately. Daytime air temperatures will range between +19°C and +24°C.

In Riga, the weather will also bring a mix of sunshine and clouds, with the possibility of a brief light shower in the afternoon. Winds are expected to remain gentle, and temperatures will climb to +22…+24°C.
