Latvia to see changeable weather Sunday, temperatures up to +17°C
Sunday's forecast for Latvia calls for a mix of sun and rain with temperatures climbing to +17°C, followed by a foggy night.

Latvia will experience unsettled weather on Sunday, with sunshine breaking through clouds in some areas while a band of precipitation crosses the country, bringing rain primarily to the western regions and Vidzeme, according to forecasters at the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Winds will blow gently to moderately from the southwest and west across the country. Daytime air temperatures will climb to between +14 and +17 degrees Celsius, making for a relatively mild autumn day.
Conditions in Riga
In the capital, skies will clear at times during the day, though light rain cannot be ruled out in the evening. Winds will be light to moderate from the southwest and west, with temperatures reaching +15 to +16 degrees.
Overnight outlook
The night into Monday will bring considerable cloud cover, though no significant precipitation is expected. Fog and haze will reduce visibility in many areas, particularly in the western and central regions, and may linger into the morning hours in some places.
Overnight temperatures will drop to between +6 and +11 degrees, while coastal areas will stay a few degrees warmer than inland regions.
In Riga, skies will gradually cloud over during the night, though conditions will remain dry. Winds will stay light, and fog or haze may develop in the second half of the night. Temperatures in the capital will fall to +9 to +10 degrees overnight.
