Sunday to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms in parts of Latvia
Sunday will see heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in many areas of Latvia, with temperatures ranging from +11°C to +22°C.

According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Sunday will bring heavy rain and thunderstorms in some parts of the country.
At the beginning of the night, most of the territory will be rainy, but in the western regions precipitation will gradually cease and the sun will appear by morning. In some places, the rain will be heavy and accompanied by thunder. A light to moderate west-northwest wind will blow, with gusts reaching 15–18 m/s in coastal areas. Overnight temperatures will drop to +11…+17°C.
In Riga, occasional rain is expected during the night, with possible thunderstorms and heavy downpours. Rain will stop in the morning. The sky will be mostly cloudy, with a northwest wind gusting up to 15 m/s and temperatures falling to +14…+16°C.
On Sunday daytime, brief rain is forecast in many places, and thunderclouds may develop, bringing heavy showers. The wind will remain light to moderate from the west-northwest, becoming gusty under thunderclouds. Maximum temperatures will range from +17°C to +22°C.
In Riga, from midday onward occasional rain is expected, with a possibility that a cumulonimbus cloud could bring heavy rain and thunder. The capital will experience light to moderate west-northwest wind, and the air will warm to +20…+22°C.
