SwitchBot releases an improved cordless fan: Fan 2 Pro
SwitchBot has unveiled a new fan model, the Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro, featuring longer battery life, greater throw distance, and native Matter support.

SwitchBot, a company specializing in smart home devices, has launched an updated cordless fan – the SwitchBot Battery Circulator Fan 2 Pro. Priced at $119.99, it is designed for use in medium-sized rooms, balconies, or even family tents.
The new fan ditches the height-adjustable stand but offers a larger battery capacity of 3,600mAh, providing up to 70 hours of very quiet (21dB) cordless operation at low speed or 4 hours at maximum speed. It can operate even longer when connected to a USB-C power bank or a portable power station.
The Fan 2 Pro can oscillate both horizontally and vertically by 90 degrees, ensuring even air distribution. It boasts the highest wind speed (6.5 m/s) and longest throw distance (33.5m) of any SwitchBot fan to date. Although its air volume (477 CFM) is slightly lower than the previous Battery Circulator Fan (489 CFM), it significantly outperforms the Standing Circulator Fan (323 CFM).
The fan's blades, filter, and front/rear housing are fully detachable for easy cleaning. It also includes an integrated nightlight. A new feature is native Matter-over-Wi-Fi support, allowing the fan to join a smart home system without needing a separate SwitchBot Hub.
For now, the Fan 2 Pro is available only in North America. The UK and European model will arrive later and will include a built-in negative ion generator designed to reduce airborne dust and static electricity.
