On Saturday, multi-storey scaffolding along Cheung Sha Wan Road in Hong Kong collapsed due to strong winds. Police received numerous calls, but no injuries were reported.

Typhoon Strikes

Typhoon Noul made landfall in southern China on Sunday morning, lashing the region with strong winds and heavy rain. Hong Kong International Airport canceled approximately 360 passenger flights.

According to state media, this is the strongest typhoon to make landfall in China so far in 2026.
