Taiwanese scholars have passports confiscated, detained in Mombasa
Taiwan's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said a group of scholars had their passports and mobile phones confiscated and were detained in Mombasa for over 20 hours.
Taiwan's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said that the scholars' passports and mobile phones were confiscated, and they were detained in Mombasa for more than 20 hours before being allowed to leave the country.
