Tallinn's Museum of Natural History opens annual mushroom exhibition
The Estonian Museum of Natural History in Tallinn has opened its 64th traditional mushroom exhibition, the last to be held at its historic Old Town building before the museum relocates to Noblessner.
On Thursday, September 10, the Estonian Museum of Natural History in Tallinn opened its 64th annual mushroom exhibition. This marks the last time the exhibition will take place at the museum's historic building in the Old Town, as the institution is preparing to move to new premises.
During the exhibition, visitors to the museum's courtyard can view various mushroom species found in Estonia, including edible, inedible and poisonous varieties. Museum experts and consultants will be on hand to answer visitors' questions about mushrooms.
The mushroom exhibition will run until September 20. In early November, the Estonian Museum of Natural History will begin its relocation from the historic premises in the Old Town to an ultramodern building in the Noblessner quarter.
