Rescuers help person with leg stuck in railing grid in Tallinn

On June 18, rescuers in Tallinn used a hydraulic spreader to free a person whose leg became trapped in a metal railing grid of an apartment building on Lastekodu Street.

On the morning of June 18, at 8:15 AM, the Põhja Rescue Center was alerted to an incident on Lastekodu Street in Tallinn. A person had gotten their leg stuck in the metal grid of a railing in an apartment building. The individual could not explain how it happened. Rescuers from the Lilleküla unit used a hydraulic spreader to widen the bars and free the person. After the extraction, the victim was escorted to the courtyard and handed over to ambulance personnel for medical care. No further details about the person's condition were provided.
