Tallinna FC Flora eliminated from Conference League after home loss

Tallinna FC Flora are out of the UEFA Conference League after losing 4–0 at home to Andorran champions Inter Club d'Escaldes in the third qualifying round second leg. Having lost the away leg 2–0 last week, Flora fell 6–0 on aggregate.

As last season's Meistriliiga winners, Flora began their European campaign in the Champions League qualifiers, but were knocked out in the first round by Georgian side FC Iberia 1999. They then moved to the Conference League and beat Welsh side The New Saints over two legs.

Inter took the lead in the 17th minute through Spanish midfielder Pablo Molina. In the second half, Faysal Chouaib scored twice and Borja Arellano added a fourth.

Flora striker Rauno Alliku said after the match that the team took more risks toward the end and left few players in defense, allowing Inter to break forward and finish chances well. He noted that it is very difficult to achieve anything in Europe without scoring goals, as the team created chances in both legs but failed to convert them. Alliku described the campaign as disappointing and said the team had expected a different outcome.

Inter will meet either Kosovan champions Drita or San Marino's Tre Fiori in the final playoff round. As a result, no Estonian club remains in the Conference League this season. Paide exited at the same stage after losing 6–1 on aggregate to Rapid Vienna, while Levadia were eliminated in the previous round, losing 4–3 on aggregate to IFK Göteborg despite an away win in the first leg.
