Police Search for 57-Year-Old Man Missing on Tallinn's Stromka Beach

Estonian police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 57-year-old Vladimir, who disappeared on Stromka Beach in Tallinn. The report of his disappearance was received on Friday afternoon when relatives noticed that the man had likely gone swimming but did not return for a long time.

Officers immediately launched a search, and active search operations on the beach continued until the evening. Both the coastal area and the sea were checked. The operation involved police patrols, volunteers, a helicopter from the Police and Border Guard Board (PPA), a boat, an ATV, and a drone. The search has yielded no results – the man has not yet been found.

Police also checked Vladimir's home address, but he was not there. He has not been located in hospitals either. It is possible that he left the beach, but his possible direction of travel is unknown.

The missing man has a short buzz cut and is wearing blue trousers. Police urge anyone with information about Vladimir's whereabouts to call 112.
