A round of the Latvian Cup in autocross will take place this Saturday at the Talsi CVS track, drawing a wide range of racing enthusiasts. Currently 91 starting numbers have already been registered, and the fleet of vehicles promises to be diverse — from small and nimble Toyota Yaris cars to powerful all-wheel-drive machines.

Competition format

Each competitor will complete three runs, with the first start scheduled for 11:00. Spectators will be able to watch drivers battle for every second on the track and experience the atmosphere of motorsport up close.

Spectator amenities

Organizers expect good weather, making it an ideal Saturday activity for families and friends alike. A food vendor will be on site throughout the day so spectators can grab a bite. Admission to the event is completely free.

Organizers are encouraging people to take advantage of the opportunity and head to the Talsi CVS track to support the competitors. At the same time, they stress the importance of safety, asking spectators to remain only in designated viewing areas and to follow instructions from judges and organizers. Attendees are also asked to help keep the track and surrounding area as clean after the event as it was before the competition began.
