Talsi Lutheran Church – the vertical axis and heritage symbol of the city

The Curonians living in Talsi adopted Christianity in 1231, and eight hundred years will soon have passed since then. Today, when religious affiliation and faith are not a priority for many, the Lutheran church building still serves as the city's vertical axis and the dominant feature of the old town.
