Weapons stolen in break-in at Tartu store

Police have opened a criminal case after a break-in at a shop in Tartu, Estonia, where several air guns and starter pistols were stolen.

Police in the Estonian city of Tartu have launched a criminal investigation into a burglary at a local shop.

According to the press service of the Southern Estonia Prefecture, the break-in took place at a store on Puiestee Street. Intruders forced their way into the premises and made off with several pieces of air weaponry, along with a number of starter pistols.

Authorities are currently working to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible. No further details about suspects or the scale of the theft have been made public so far.
