The Washington Post has published a list of major donors to the White House ballroom project championed by US President Donald Trump, along with the amount each gave. According to tech outlet The Verge, which reported on the list, Silicon Valley and the crypto industry have reportedly delivered more than $150 million toward the effort. It had been known that large technology companies were helping fund construction, but the sums had not been disclosed.

The money came from several kinds of sources: some from individuals, some from charitable organizations tied to major firms or industry players, and some directly from companies.

Biggest contributors

The largest gifts came from Nvidia, the chipmaker, and Apple, which gave $25 million each. Google contributed $22 million, a sum that was part of a controversial settlement reached in 2025. Palantir and Microsoft each gave $10 million, and Comcast NBCUniversal gave $7.5 million.

Amazon, Meta, T-Mobile, Cisco, crypto exchange Coinbase, crypto firm Ripple Labs and software company ServiceNow each gave $5 million. So did David Baszucki, CEO of gaming platform Roblox. Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, co-founders of the Gemini crypto exchange, gave $5.05 million.

Smaller amounts also appear on the list: HP and Micron each gave $2.5 million, and Salesforce gave $2 million.

Together, the six biggest tech names on the list — Nvidia, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Meta — account for $92 million. The list as published is partial and covers only the major tech and crypto contributors.
