Collision Between Car and Moped in Teika; Teenager Injured

On Wednesday afternoon, at the intersection of Lielvārdes and Aizkraukles streets in Teika, Rīga, a collision took place between a moped and a passenger car, as reported by "Degpunktā". The moped driver, a minor, sustained multiple injuries in the accident.

A video captured by a bystander shows a Volkswagen hitting the side of the moped. The young driver fell onto the asphalt and rolled several times, while the moped slid into a green area nearby.

The car driver admitted to the program that he did not see the moped due to heavy traffic. The teenager had recently obtained his moped license and was on his way to his grandmother's house at the time of the accident.
