Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Married at Madison Square Garden
Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have tied the knot in a wedding ceremony at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Friday.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married. The couple celebrated their wedding on Friday in New York City, nearly three years after first meeting.
The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, Swift's spokesperson confirmed. Swift's brother, Austin, served as her man of honor, while Kelce's brother, NFL veteran Jason Kelce, was best man. The couple did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen.
The wedding took place at Madison Square Garden in midtown Manhattan. Around 7:20 pm local time, screens outside the venue displayed a celebratory message: “JUST&T MARRIED!”
Both Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior couture designed by Jonathan Anderson. Swift also wore Cartier jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes—Louboutin also designed most of the footwear for her Eras Tour.
Celebrities spotted arriving at the venue included Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper, Ethan Hawke, Jack Antonoff, and NFL stars Cooper Kupp and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Close friends like Tree Paine and Abigail Anderson Berard were also present. Stevie Nicks, whom Swift has cited as a mentor, was reportedly scheduled to perform.
Permits indicated up to 1,000 guests attended. Phones were banned inside the venue. Security was tight, with nearby streets closed to vehicular traffic, but fans gathered in droves to catch a glimpse, calling it “America’s royal wedding.” Even the Empire State Building was illuminated in light blue sparkle to honor the occasion.
Swift and Kelce first connected in July 2023 when Kelce attended Swift's show at Arrowhead Stadium, though they did not meet then. Swift's mother later arranged a meeting after seeing Kelce's podcast go viral. They began dating quietly and went public in September 2023. After the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in February 2024, Swift joined Kelce on the field. In June 2024, Kelce joined Swift on stage at Wembley Stadium. They announced their engagement in August 2025 after Swift appeared on Kelce's podcast. Swift's album The Life of a Showgirl included songs referencing their relationship.
