Senate candidate Talarico draws packed Texas A&M rally
Democratic US Senate candidate James Talarico held a packed campaign rally at Texas A&M University. Al Jazeera's reporter attended, and the report asks whether he can win over young voters.
James Talarico, the Democratic candidate for a US Senate seat in Texas, held a rally at Texas A&M University that drew a packed crowd. Al Jazeera correspondent Emma Withrow attended the event in person.
The Senate is the upper chamber of the US Congress. Talarico is running for it as the Democratic Party's candidate.
The central question in Al Jazeera's report is whether he can win the support of young voters. A full venue on a university campus suggests he can draw an audience, but the source does not say how many people attended or how much backing he has among young people.
The source gives no further details about how the rally went, what the candidate said or what polls show.
