This week, the Tet+ platform has expanded its catalog with three new titles: the sci-fi film "Avatar: Fire and Ash", the sitcom "Shifting Gears", and the animated adventure series "The Smurfs".

"Avatar: Fire and Ash"

This is the third installment in the "Avatar" saga. The story follows marine Jake Sully, who has become the leader of the Na'vi. His family, accompanied by wind traders, sets out to avoid another disaster. Along the way, they are attacked by the Ash People, who blame Eywa for destroying their homes. Following the massive box office success of the first film in 2009, director James Cameron announced two sequels, initially planning to release the third in December 2015. However, the addition of two more films and the development of new underwater motion-capture technology caused significant delays. Filming began simultaneously with the second part in New Zealand in September 2017. With a budget of approximately $350 million, it is one of the most expensive films in cinema history. Its box office revenue reached $1.49 billion, making it the third highest-grossing film of 2025, though it is the least profitable in the "Avatar" series. The film won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects.

"Shifting Gears"

This comedy series revolves around a stubborn auto repair shop owner who reluctantly takes in his adult daughter and her children, causing his carefully established routine to collapse. The series explores themes of identity, career breakdown, and family relationships, showing how restarting can sometimes be harder than starting for the first time. Contrasting personalities, generational conflicts, and unresolved past traumas create tension.

"The Smurfs"

The animated series "The Smurfs" tells the story of magical, blue elf-like creatures. Each Smurf has a distinct personality, reflected in its name. They live in mushroom houses in an enchanted forest, led by Papa Smurf. Their carefree existence is threatened by the evil but clumsy wizard Gargamel and his equally nasty cat Azrael.
