Live broadcast: Politicians and experts to assess Kulbergs government's first 100 days

On September 2, LSM will air a live political discussion focused on the first 100 days of Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs' government. The programme, titled "What Happened in Andris Kulbergs' Government's First 100 Days?", is intended to review and evaluate the start of the new cabinet's work.

The line-up for the discussion includes Prime Minister Kulbergs, who represents the United List. He will be joined by Economy Minister Viktors Valainis from the Union of Greens and Farmers and Interior Minister Jānis Dombrava from the National Alliance. Saeima deputy Arvils Ašeradens of New Unity will also take part in the discussion.

Since these politicians represent the parties that form the ruling coalition, their participation offers an insight into the government's own view of its achievements. The opposition will be represented by Andris Šuvajevs, chair of the Progressives' Saeima faction, and Linda Liepiņa, chair of the Latvia First Saeima faction. Their presence will also allow critical perspectives on the government's performance to be heard.

Additional analysis will be provided by Daunis Auers, a professor at the University of Latvia and chairman of the board of the LaSER think tank, as well as publicist Māris Zanders. The two experts are expected to assess the work of the cabinet and the prime minister over the first 100 days.

The live format is designed to let viewers follow the discussion as it happens and hear a range of opinions about the government's initial period in office.
