Several industrial facilities in the Russian city of Tolyatti were damaged in a Ukrainian drone attack on Saturday, 24 October, local authorities said. Ukraine's General Staff, the command body of its armed forces, said the target was the Tolyattikauchuk petrochemical plant, one of Russia's largest producers of synthetic rubber. The strike is part of the continuing exchange of attacks in the war between the two countries.

The General Staff also reported a strike on the Proton electronics plant in Russia's Oryol region. Kyiv says the plant makes components for cruise and ballistic missiles. Oryol Governor Andrei Klychkov said that on Friday a Ukrainian missile strike on an unspecified civilian facility in the region killed three people.
Ukraine's military also reported hitting an aircraft at the Yeysk airfield in southern Russia. Local authorities confirmed an attack in the area but said it caused only minor damage to two apartment buildings.
