Toronto Film Festival: Helen Mirren, Chris Rock and Seth Rogen lead lineup

This year's Toronto International Film Festival, running from September 10 to 20, will showcase a diverse range of world premieres. Among the most anticipated is "A Talent for Murder," starring Helen Mirren as author Patricia Highsmith. Directed by Anton Corbijn, the film also features Alden Ehrenreich as a literary agent sent to Switzerland to persuade Highsmith to write one more Ripley novel.

Seth Rogen returns to Toronto with "Babies," a comedy written and directed by his wife Lauren Miller Rogen. The film, co-starring Anna Kendrick, Issa Rae, Kate Berlant and Sharon Stone, follows a childless couple thrust into parenting when their divorced friend moves in with her three-year-old.

Chris Rock will present his latest directorial effort, "Misty Green," a Hollywood-set comedy in which he also stars. The A24 film, featuring Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick and Rosalind Eleazar, centers on a director offering a comeback to an actor derailed by vices.

"I Play Rocky," directed by Peter Farrelly, explores the making of Sylvester Stallone's Oscar-winning film. Anthony Ippolito plays Stallone in the drama.

Courteney Cox directs "Evil Genius," a crime thriller based on the true story of the "Pizza Bomber" Brian Wells. Patricia Arquette and David Harbour lead the cast.

Rebel Wilson returns with "Girl Group," playing a singer kicked off her own group's reunion tour who stages a comeback with a younger teen group. The cast includes Jennifer Coolidge, Sheridan Smith, Melanie C and Nicole Scherzinger.

Other notable premieres include John Madden's "Onwards and Sideways" starring Laura Linney and Rhys Ifans as two people diagnosed with Parkinson's on the same day, the comedy thriller "Everybody Wants to Fuck Me" with Taron Egerton, the prison drama "The Life and Deaths of Wilson Shedd" starring Amanda Seyfried, and the supernatural drama "Faith" with James McAvoy and Erin Doherty.

Previously announced films include the romance "Love of Your Life" with Margaret Qualley, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aaron Pierre, the stage adaptation "Prima Facie" starring Cynthia Erivo, and "Being Heumann" from "Coda" director Sian Heder.
