Tottenham midfielder Bergvall considers exit amid limited game time
Swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall is exploring a move away from Tottenham after struggling for minutes and being played out of position. Clubs including Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have shown interest.

Lucas Bergvall, the 20-year-old Sweden international, faces an uncertain future at Tottenham Hotspur as the midfielder seeks a new challenge. Under manager Roberto de Zerbi, Bergvall saw limited minutes late last season and was often deployed outside his preferred role as a deep-lying playmaker. Spurs themselves are looking to strengthen in midfield, having had an £80 million bid for Newcastle's Sandro Tonali rejected. Bergvall's representatives are believed to have held talks with Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, and Chelsea, though the London club is no longer interested after briefly exploring a move in January. Bergvall is currently at the World Cup, where he featured in Sweden's 5-1 defeat by the Netherlands in Houston on Saturday. He made 33 appearances for Spurs last season but missed two months after undergoing ankle surgery.
